Alot of hype ’bout these technologies. Since my main job is to forge a medium to long term strategy I’m benchmarking both 3G and WiMax (which my department is rolling out and I’m the overall project manager for (I took this responsibility in addition to my Strategy directorship in order to have a on handle experience with this technology)).
Here’s a sample of 3G (we hit 220 kb/s driving around the Athens Freeway (attiki odos) at around 160 km/s (I drove my Alpha)).
If you’re looking for a theme to this work, you won’t find one.
