There was , once this dude, who was the governor of Toluca (Mexico).
The then president of Mexico, called this governor and told him: “Look man, we gotta open relations with China”.
The governor took a plane ride to China, gathered intelligence, and reported back to Senior, El Presidente”:
His report detailed (and twas a damn good report) China’s economic growth, competitive factors, demographics, habits and overall economic and international strategy, and areas where Mexico could benefit from China’s growth.
After this debriefing (and the President sat and listened quietly while staring out of his Presidential office) the President said:
“So, how was the food???”.
