Blackle is an application that uses Google as a search engine, but instead of getting the typical google white screen, you get a neat black screen. When used en mass, you get to save alot of energy.

I like it ’cause it doesn’t kill my eyes like the google white screen, its environmentally conscious, and gives my screen a neat, mystifying look.

i like the blackle concept!!!! recently while surfing i also found Blackle games; interesting concept: play games and save the world!!. WHat we really need to do is to stop being lazy and actually do our own work and reduce using machinery and wasting resources.
There are around 17 different versions of “black google” online. The best one I’ve found is http://www.cleanblack.com. Cleanblack is the only version that allows you to change the text colors of the google search results. Try it yourself by going to http://www.cleanblack.com/theme/
